Pausing/Resuming a Scheduled Task

KS / KS 5000U / KSa 5008U

When backup needs to temporarily stop for avoiding unnecessary resource consumption during a specific period, you can pause a task.

When a task is paused, the task will not continue to execute as scheduled until it is manually resumed.

After recovery, the task is automatically executed at the next scheduled trigger time, which allows users to flexibly control the execution of the backup plan.

Procedure

After checking the prerequisites and completing the settings, the following is the procedure summary of setting up a virtual machine:

  1. Go to EonOne for KS > Settings > Backup & restore > Scheduled tasks.
  2. To pause a task, select a desired task entry in the list and click Pause. The task will not be executed.
  3. To resume the task, select a desired task that its status is not “Run”. Click Resume. The task will be executed when the activate time is up.
